Based on activated silica compounds, this technology was originally designed as a performance level compound, but after intensive development in our research and development department in Korbach, a new advanced compound with exceptional grip and properties cross-country has been developed. This new rubber compound, which has the explicit name « PureGrip », is ranked second only to our BlackChili Compound and is used in our performance products in both the road and MTB sectors. While offering excellent grip, it is also durable and very resistant – two characteristics of Continental tires, which are exclusively produced in the factory in Hefei (Asia).
